SHAC (Stop Huntingdon Animal Cruelty) held a demonstration on Thursday 13th January with a total of ten demonstrators in attendance. The group appeared intent on disrupting the offices that they attended and on each occasion attempted to gain access to the offices before being asked to leave by security.
Further demonstrations are planned for Friday 28th January, with what SHAC are labelling a 'Global action day', aimed at disrupting the premises of Huntingdon Life Sciences' customers. AstraZeneca, Bayer, Merck, Sanofi and Shering Plough are known to be targets suggested to potential demonstrators by SHAC.
